We work to keep obituaries and service details accurate and current, but plans change and errors happen. If a service time matters to you, please call us to confirm at (816) 555-0142. Nothing on this website is a contract, a price quote, or a promise of availability.

Things you post

When you leave a condolence, share a memory, or upload a photograph, you are telling us it is yours to share and giving Hartwell & Sons Funeral Home permission to publish it on this website in connection with that person’s obituary. You keep ownership of what you wrote or photographed.

Submissions are reviewed by our staff before they appear. We may decline or remove anything that is abusive, false, commercial, or hurtful to the family — this is a memorial page, and we will always err on the side of the family. If you want something you posted taken down, ask us and we will remove it.

Google Maps content on this site

Our home page displays our Google rating and recent Google reviews using Google Maps Platform. That content belongs to Google and to the people who wrote it, not to us. By using this website you are also bound by Google’s Terms of Service, which are incorporated into these terms by reference.

Reviews appear in the order Google returns them, ranked by relevance. We do not filter them by star rating and we do not hide reviews.
